Emily Marcinowski, M.A., LPCC, MGCP

Athletic Experience:

  • Began playing youth volleyball, basketball, and softball in 4th grade.
    Began playing JO travel volleyball at age 11 and continued playing at the elite level until age 18.
  • Played 4 years of Varsity volleyball at Padua Franciscan High School.
  • Won a DII State Championship my senior year at Padua Franciscan High School.
  • Played 4 years of DI volleyball at Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania.
  • Coached at Padua Franciscan High School for 3 seasons and at Maverick Volleyball Club for 3 seasons.

Academic Experience:

  • Completed 4 years of MedTrack program at Padua Franciscan High School.
  • Received Bachelor’s degree from Saint Francis University in 2018 with a major in Psychology and minor in Exercise Physiology.
  • Received Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University in 2020. 
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio. Passed two national licensing examinations, the National Counseling Exam (NCE), as well as the National Clinical and Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE), and have completed 3,000 hours as a Master’s level clinician which includes supervised counseling experiences in several different environments.
  • Certified Mental Game Coaching Professional (MGCP) through training with Sports Psychologist Dr. Patrick Cohn.
